Después de la entrevista con Polly James de Absolute Radio (nuestros vecinos en el área VIP), Christina Perri vino a ver y firmar su cuadro.
Estaba muy sorprendida y le gustó mucho como había quedado su retrato. Todo un halago de alguien tan guapa! Posó con gusto con el cuadro antes de seguir con sus otras ocupaciones de estrella.

After the interview with Polly James of Absolute Radio (Our neighbors in the VIP area), Christina Perri came to see and sign painting.
She was very surprised and really liked how her portrait had turned out. Quite a compliment from someone that beautiful! She gladly posed with the painting before continuing with their other star occupations.

Hola!Altea Arte 2012

Desde el 27 de Julio tenemos en Altea la feria anual de arte;
Feria del Pequeño formato / Fira del Xicotet Format.
Hasta el 9 de septiembre nos encuentras todas las noches en el Portal Vell del Casco Antiguo de Altea de 20:00 a 1:00.
Os invito a todos a pasar a verme a mi y a mis compañeros!

Since July 27, we’re at Altea’s annual Art Fair; Feria del Pequeño formato / Fira del Xicotet Format (Small Size Art Fair).
Until the September 9 you can find us every night at Portal Vell in the Old Town of Altea from 20:00 to 1:00.

Hard Rock Calling 2012 – Hey Monea!

Nos hemos hecho amigos de los chicos de Hey Monea!, el grupo que ganó ‘Hard Rock Rising’. 12.000 grupos han concursado en los Hard Rock Cafes en todo el mundo y el ganador ha sido elegido para comenzar el sábado  antes de Bruce Springsteen. Son de Canton, Ohio, EEUU. Cuando vieron su cuadro se quedaron ilusionados, son unos chicos muy majos y lo hemos pasado muy bien con ellos.

Hey Monea! consiste de los hermanos Daniel y Nate Monea y Adam Orin. Adam ‘Showtime’ Muller es el manager y el ‘McGyver’ del grupo. Matt Corey es el saxo en el cuadro.

Estad pendientes, estoy convencido que escucharéis mucho más de ellos en el futuro.

We have become friends with the guys of Hey Monea!, the band that won ‘Hard Rock Rising’. 12,000 bands have competed in the Hard Rock Cafes worldwide and the winner has been chosen to open Saturday before Bruce Springsteen. They are from Canton, Ohio, USA. When they saw their painting they were all excited, they are really nice guys and we have had a great time with them.

Hey Monea! consists of the brothers Dan and Nate Monea and Adam Orin. Adam ‘Showtime’ Muller is the manager and the ‘McGyver’ of the band. Matt Corey is the saxplayer in the painting.

Stay tuned, I am convinced that you will hear much more of them in the future.

Hola!

Ha sido una auténtica pasada! Ha sido muy intenso, muy bonito y muy pero muy gratificante!

Es curioso estar cerca de los famosos y los VIPs, pero lo que más nos ha gustado ha sido ser parte de la gran familia que es el Hard Rock Cafe, de verdad, hemos hecho unos 250 amigos nuevos.
Algunos ya les conocimos de Madrid, pero los que no conocimos, nos acogieron enseguida.
No recuerdo haber intercambiado tantas sonrisas y tantas miradas de reconocimiento, ni de haber tenido tan buen rollo con tanta gente.
No puedo expresarlo en palabras, sólo puedo decir:
GRACIAS, GRACIAS y GRACIAS a todo el equipo de Hard Rock Cafe. 

Un agradecimiento especial para Calum, Theresa, Claire, George y Borja, sin ellos todo esto no hubiera sido posible.

Hello!

It has been absolutely amazing! It was very intense, very beautiful and very, very rewarding!

It’s curious to be around celebrities and VIPs, but what we liked most was being part of the great family which is the Hard Rock Cafe, really, we have made about 250 new friends.
Some we already knew from Madrid, the ones we didn’t know, have ‘adopted’ us immediately.
I don’t remember exchanging so many smiles and so many looks of recognition, or having such a good feeling with so many people.
I can’t express it with words, I can only say:
THANK YOU, THANK YOU and THANK YOU to the entire team of Hard Rock Cafe.

Special thanks to Calum, Theresa, Claire, George and Borja, without them this would not have been possible.

Otra estrella que nos acompañará al Hyde Park para adornar Hard Rock Calling, el legendario Rod Stewart, que con sus numerosos éxitos también puso su sello en la historia de la música.
Sólo faltan 5 días para que nos vayamos a Londres y cuando lo pienso siento cosquillas en el estómago…
